Trouvé Fine Art is a family business based in London & Leeds, it is a place to bring together the creative ideas of artists Elliot and Karen.
Here you will find a mixture of our own original artwork, antique clothing from France and vintage furniture sourced from around Europe all of which combine our love of the natural world with a philosophy of embracing the beauty of imperfection. Each piece is hand picked, unique and sustainable.
Elliot predominately works with oils and graduated from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2015 with a degree in Illustration. He creates expressive and sometimes surreal portraits of real and imagined subjects. Elliot seeks to create artwork with an enigmatic, playful quality and sees his subjects as characters often using the same person in a new piece or idea.
Karen is a decorative artist with over 25 years experience. Interpreting her love of East Asian Chinoiserie with the beauty found in the natural ageing of wood. She has developed her own unique technique of fusing plasterwork and hand carving. Karen has worked with a range of clients including interior designers, shop fitters and stylists.
London Studio
Elliot enjoys being part of a community of artists at his London based studio where he continues to develop and work on new ideas. He is happy to arrange studio visits.
Leeds Studio
Karen's new studio is based in the village of Bramhope, near Leeds. Visits can be arranged and commissions are always welcomed.
