Trouvé is a family-run studio based in London and Leeds, bringing together hand-painted vintage furniture, original oil paintings and antique clothing.

Founded by two artists with a shared sensitivity to material, narrative and craftsmanship, the studio exists as a meeting point between decorative tradition and contemporary expression. Each piece is either carefully sourced or created in-house, with attention given to surface, texture and the quiet character that emerges over time.

Our furniture is individually selected and restored before being hand-finished using layered techniques that draw from decorative art, natural ageing and traditional craftsmanship. No two pieces are the same, each carries its own presence and sense of history.

Alongside this, original oil paintings explore expressive and sometimes surreal portraiture, balancing playfulness with atmosphere. Figures are approached as characters — recurring, evolving and often reinterpreted across different works.

Rooted in a respect for sustainability and longevity, Trouvé embraces the beauty of imperfection and the depth that comes from time, material and considered making.
