A mixture of our own original artwork, antique clothing from France and vintage furniture sourced from around Europe all of which combine our love of the natural world with a philosophy of embracing the beauty of imperfection. Each piece is hand picked, unique and sustainable.
Our furniture is sourced from across Europe, chosen for its naturally aged patina.
We have developed our own unique decorative techniques, incorporating gilding, carving, stencilling and plasterwork as well as hand painting some designs.
We take our design inspirations from Eastern Chinoiserie and European Rococo and put a strong emphasis on our love of faded elegant paint finishes.
We find pine the perfect soft wood to work with, durable, rustic, functional and sustainable it acts a perfect canvas.

Elliot launched Trouvé in 2015, sourcing and selling antique clothing from France.
The ethos of French workers of repairing rather than replacing clothing resonates with us.
Some of the items you find here are close to 100 years old and it is amazing to see the history they carry with them. The patchwork and repairs you will find demonstrate this and to ensure our items live for another 100 years we have added some of our own patchwork and repairs where necessary.
Our furniture, paintings and clothing are available for hire and have been used for photoshoots, events and theatre.
Elliot works in both oil paint and oil pastel. His narrative paintings take influence from mid-century expressive painters and portrait photographers.
His distinctive, naive and surreal style taps into his background in illustration. Seeing his subjects as characters they are often reworked into new paintings and drawings allowing you to form your own narrative.
Elliot also works from life, capturing an endearing primitive frankness in his models which he translates into each piece.
He has exhibited in the U.K. and Australia and has successfully worked on commissioned portrait projects.
We have sourced an eclectic collection of decorative wall hangings repurposed from reclaimed pine doors and panels this is a project we are extremely passionate about.
Turning away from a Western wasteful culture we have embraced the traditional Japanese wabi-sabi celebrating transience and imperfection.
Merging their roughness and asymmetry with our naive portraiture and plasterwork Chinoiserie to transform the doors into unique wall hangings.
