Hand carved in Australia, made from Kurrajong wood. Varied shapes and designs.
I carved these spoons while working as a tree lopper in Australia. Lopping kurrajong trees is a necessary process to ensure they don't die off and also provided foliage for animals to eat as part of drought relief in Australia.
 
Nice lightweight wood, perfect for carving. It has been treated with food safe beeswax so that the spoons are fine to eat with, however I do think they work best as decorative pieces. Each spoon has been individually carved with a whittling knife.
